GAME RECAPChris Anstey scored a career-high 26 points and Khalid Reeves added 20 as the Dallas Mavericks overcame a 17-point second-quarter deficit and defeated the Boston Celtics, 99-93.
Anstey made 11-of-15 shots and grabbed eight rebounds as Dallas overcame a deficit of 17 or more points for the second time in four games.
The Mavericks erased a 19-point deficit and defeated the Chicago Bulls, 104-97, in overtime last Thursday. Michael Finley scored six of his 16 points in the final two minutes for the Mavericks, who won for just the third time in 17 games against Eastern Conference teams.
Finley also handed out 11 assists and grabbed eight rebounds for the Mavericks, who had lost four of their previous five games. Antoine Walker had 23 points and eight rebounds and Ron Mercer scored 18 points for Boston, which suffered its fifth consecutive loss.
Kenny Anderson collected 16 points, five assists and five rebounds for the Celtics, who have dropped four straight on the road.
