Game Story

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- Wesley Person scored a season-high 33 points and Andre Miller added 27 to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to their third straight victory, a 115-107 triumph over the Milwaukee Bucks.

The three-game winning streak is the Cavaliers' first this season and the victory was Cleveland's first in Milwaukee in eight games.

"We can finally say we've got a streak," Cleveland coach John Lucas said. "We're beginning to grow, we need to continue to develop and improve."

Glenn Robinson scored 32 points for Milwaukee, which lost for just the third time in 14 games against Central Division opponents this season.

It was the 17th time this season the Cavs scored at least 100 points and have won 11 of those games.

The Bucks were without guard Sam Cassell, who has a sprained left big toe.

"This is a big win for us even with Sam Cassell out," Lucas said.

"I think Sam will be able to play Friday," Milwaukee coach George Karl said. "At least we hope that he'll be out there."

Cleveland shot 88 percent (23-of-26) from the free-throw line as Person hit all of six of his attempts and Miller and Lamond Murray each hit 7-of-8. Miller also handed out 19 assists.

"Andre is really growing leaps and bounds right now," Lucas said. "I just pray he can stay healthy so we can build."

"Michael (Doleac) got us going early and everyone fed off his energy," Miller said. "Wesley came up big in the end shooting the ball."

Doleac scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in 31 minutes, one minute shy of his season high against Minnesota on November 13.

The Cavaliers led 78-67 late in the third quarter before the Bucks got within 80-75 with 1:33 left on Tim Thomas' three-point play. Thomas scored 19 points after missing Tuesday's loss against Chicago due to the birth of his child.

Cleveland scored the next six points to take an 11-point lead into the final quarter.

"We didn't get to their shooters," Milwaukee guard Michael Redd said. "They had a great night, but we can't give them looks like that. It's our fault."

Milwaukee got within 104-99 when Ray Allen dunked with 2:24 remaining in the game.
