With the Lakers winning at home against Cleveland on Tuesday, Sacramento's lead atop the Pacific Division remained at one-half game.
Michael Olowokandi put together his second straight strong effort with 23 points and 10 rebounds, but the Clippers fell 3 1/2 games out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference with their third straight loss.
Los Angeles has dropped eight in a row in Sacramento and had its franchise record of holding foes under 100 points stopped at 14 straight games.
