Game StoryMEMPHIS, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Little-used rookie reserve Antonis Fotsis hit two big 3-pointers down the stretch as the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Portland Trail Blazers in dramatic fashion for the second time this season, 102-99.
On March 25, the Grizzlies erased a 19-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat Portland at the Rose Garden, 103-100.
In this one, Fotsis drilled a 3-pointer to give the Grizzlies a 92-91 lead with 2:16 left, then hit another with 44 seconds remaining to provide the lead for good at 99-97.
After Derek Anderson followed in a missed 3-pointer by Rasheed Wallace to make it 101-99 with four seconds remaining, rookie Will Solomon made 1-of-2 free throws a second later and Damon Stoudamire missed a desperation half-court shot at the buzzer.
Stromile Swift scored 17 points to pace Memphis, which won consecutive games at The Pyramid for the first time this season.
Wallace had 22 points and 10 rebounds and Anderson scored 19 points for the Blazers, who were missing Scottie Pippen. The versatile forward was suspended one game for throwing a punch at Dallas' Nick Van Exel on Tuesday.
