Game StorySALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- Every player on the roster helped bring the Utah Jazz back to the .500 mark. Karl Malone and Matt Harpring each scored 20 points as the Jazz used a team effort to post their fourth straight win, a 110-90 rout of the Chicago Bulls. Malone also contributed seven rebounds and seven assists while Harpring pulled down 10 boards and had 12 points in the first quarter as Utah built a 39-25 lead. Calbert Cheaney, Jarron Collins, Mark Jackson and Andrei Kirilenko also scored in double figures for Utah, which opened the season with losses in four of the first five games. "The second unit did a great job for us," Malone said. "It's kinda neat to see. Those guys deserve to play just as much as a lot of us. They work in practice as well and they get out there and make the most of it." "The locker room is a lot better when you're on a four-game winning streak rather than a three-, four-game losing streak," added Scott Padgett, who scored eight points in 16 minutes off the bench for Utah. "We've got a little bit of a roll going here, so we need to keep working on the things that we struggle with. We took care of the ball tonight a lot better." Jalen Rose had 25 points to lead all scorers but could not prevent the Bulls from losing their 10th straight against the Jazz. Chicago has not beaten Utah in the regular season since January 6, 1997 and has not won at the Delta Center since November 24, 1995. Donyell Marshall scored 17 points and grabbed seven boards against his former team. "I wasn't trying to prove anything," said Marshall, who spent the previous two seasons as Malone's backup. "I am happy with my decision (to play for Chicago), and that is the most important thing. I had a great two years here, the fans were nice and I liked it while I was here." The Bulls lost for the fourth time in five days. All four games have been on the road, where Chicago has dropped seven straight. "You try not to use anything as an excuse," Bulls coach Bill Cartwright said. "You've got to fight. You've got to fight for a rebound. You've got to fight to get the guy off the post. Y ou've got to make a stand. You've got to show up for your teammates. Some of it is just effort and awareness. ... Obviously, we haven't done that." Utah shot 53 percent (43-of-81) from the field while limiting Chicago to 38 percent (32-of-84). The Jazz built a six-point lead after one quarter and extended it to 58-51 at halftime.
