Game StoryOAKLAND, California (Ticker) -- Antawn Jamison scored 37 points and Gilbert Arenas added 16 and nine assists as the Golden State Warriors posted back-to-back wins for the first time this season with a 100-90 victory over the Phoenix Suns. Jamison had 12 points in the third quarter, when the Warriors outscored the Suns, 32-20, and opened a 75-63 lead. "I talked to coach (Eric Musselman) last night and he said that I had to help him out as far as communicating," Jamison said. "If I see things out there on the court in my favor to just give him a glance, and tonight early on I felt I was getting easy shots." All five starters reached double figures for Golden State, the first time it has accomplished the feat since March 24 against Houston. The Warriors had not won two in a row since April 2-5. Jason Richardson scored 12 points and Troy Murphy and Erick Dampier chipped in 11 apiece as the Warriors improved to 4-3 since losing eight of 10 games to open the season. Murphy also grabbed 13 boards for his seventh double-double of the season and added a career-high seven assists. Stephon Marbury led Phoenix with 32 points and Shawn Marion contributed 14 and 14 rebounds. But the Suns had a three-game winning streak snapped. "They were more aggressive than us," Marbury said. "We tried, we played hard, but they were the better team tonight." Jamison had struggled from the field, shooting 32 percent (27-of-84) in the previous five games. But he got off to a good start, nailing a 3-pointer and an 18-foot jumper with 4:21 to go in the first quarter to give the Warriors a 20-12 lead. "I told the team that Antawn asked for the ball," Musselman said. "So we decided to put a little pressure on him at that point to deliver, and obviously, he did that." The Suns responded with a 14-2 run and took a 26-22 lead on a basket by Jake Voskuhl in the opening minute of the second period. "It doesn't matter what I did, we lost," Marbury said. "We started making turnovers. They were playing more aggressive than us. They wanted the game more than us tonight." Golden State managed to tie it at halftime, 43-43, then outscored the Suns, 22-10, to start the third quarter. Jamison's hook shot made it 65-53 with five minutes left in the period. "The plays that we made allowed them to get going," Suns coach Frank Johnson said. "We'd get in transition and turn it over. When we had the break, we just wouldn't make the right pass." Phoenix lost for the first time in six meetings with Golden State.
