Game StorySACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) -- The Sacramento Kings were just fine without their leading scorer. The Miami Heat were not. Mike Bibby scored 22 points and Keon Clark nearly had a triple-double in place of the injured Chris Webber as the Kings rolled to a 96-70 victory over the injury-plagued Heat. Webber was sidelined with a bruised knee, but it hardly slowed Sacramento, who had five players in double figures and won for the fourth time in five games. "I think we are doing a pretty good job. Someone steps up when needed," Bibby said. "We see it every day in practice, we're not worried about who is going to be playing. Everyone brings it every night." However, Miami struggled as guard Eddie Jones sat out with a sprained ankle. The Heat are without their starting backcourt as point guard Travis Best was placed on the injured list Friday. "We knew without Jones they were going to have a hard time finding a scorer," Kings coach Rick Adelman said. "Keon was terrific all night long. Anything they had coming to the basket, he was there." Clark started for Webber and collected 12 points, 10 rebounds and a season-high eight blocks. Jim Jackson scored 14 points off the bench and Vlade Divac had 11 and 12 rebounds for the Kings, who never trailed. "We actually have two starting fives," Clark said. "Everything is interchangeable on this club. It all depends on what coach wants to do." Sacramento scored the first 12 points highlighted by 3-pointers from Bibby and Peja Stojakovic, who had nine of his 11 points in the first quarter. The Kings were never threatened thereafter despite only shooting 44 percent (35-of-80) from the floor. They held the Heat to 30 percent (28-of-94) shooting, including 2-of-9 3-pointers. "We can't get off to a good start," Miami coach Pat Riley said. "When you shoot (30 percent) you're not going to beat anybody. We just couldn't make shots and plays. Their defense was exceptional." "We had a lot of open looks tonight and we missed a whole lot of them. I missed a lot," said Heat guard Eddie House, who scored 15 points on 6-of-17 shooting. "That is how the ball bounces sometimes. We need to learn from our mistakes." Miami never got closer than nine points after the opening minutes. Sacramento had its largest lead at 89-62 on a layup by Hedo Turkoglu with 6:27 remaining. Rookie Caron Butler scored 16 points to lead the Heat, who have lost consecutive games after winning five of their previous six. "It's always difficult when you play without one of your team leaders," said House, who replaced Jones in the starting lineup. "We have to find a way to step up as a team, collectively. We have to get it done, regardless of who we have healthy." Miami pulled within nine points four times in the first five minutes of the second half. Sacramento had a 62-52 lead with 3:09 left before closing the third quarter with a 13-4 run. Bibby buried a pair of 3-pointers and had eight points during the spurt, which gave the Kings a 75-56 cushion entering the fourth. The Heat did not get closer than 19 in the final 12 minutes.
