Game StoryDENVER (Ticker) -- Rookie Richie Frahm finally got a lot of minutes and made the most of them. Frahm scored a season-high 31 points on 10-of-11 shooting, including 6-of-7 3-pointers, as the Seattle SuperSonics held on for a 115-106 victory over the Denver Nuggets. Frahm played in 16 of Seattle's first 18 games but saw limited minutes, averaging less than three points per game. He has seen more playing time in the last couple of weeks and likely will get much more after Saturday's performance. Playing a season-high 32 minutes, Frahm was unstoppable down the stretch as the Nuggets attempted to rally. He scored 10 points in the fourth quarter, making all three of his shots, including both 3-pointers. "I had a real aggressive mentality," he said. "I was just in a rhythm and got my feet underneath me. My shot didn't really feel good early, but as the game went on, the rim was feeling better." The 26-year-old guard also made a pair of free throws in the final period and finished 5-of-5 from the line. "Richie Frahm was hot tonight," Seattle coach Nate McMillan said. "We gave him some plays. He can really shoot the ball. He played an unbelievable game." Seattle had a 90-79 cushion 70 seconds into the fourth quarter, but Denver scored six straight points. The Nuggets pulled within five nine times in the final period, but the SuperSonics responded each time. Ronald Murray scored seven points in the final period, when Seattle made 11-of-20 shots. Murray scored 21 of his 24 points in the second half and had a career-high 10 assists for the SuperSonics, who won for just the third time in 10 games. Rookie Luke Ridnour and Rashard Lewis each added 17 points as Seattle shot 51 percent (41-of-81) and made 26-of-33 free throws. Voshon Lenard scored 31 points and Andre Miller collected 21 and eight assists as Denver lost for just the third time in 13 games at the Pepsi Center this season. "We think we can just outscore people and not play defense," Nuggets coach Jeff Bzdelik said. "Anyone tonight could have scored 20 points against our defense." The Nuggets got limited production from center Marcus Camby and forward Ryan Bowen, who each played less than 20 minutes due to injuries. Frahm scored seven points in a 12-3 burst that gave Seattle a 41-29 cushion with 7 1/2 minutes left in the first half. The SuperSonics had their largest lead at 70-55 on a layup by Murray with 7:44 remaining in the third period.
