Game StoryCHICAGO (Ticker) -- Andrei Kirilenko made sure the Utah Jazz did not end their road trip with a losing record. Kirilenko scored nine of his 26 points in the first quarter and finished with a career-high 16 rebounds to lead the Jazz to a 92-80 victory over the Chicago Bulls. The Jazz went 3-3 on the trip as Kirilenko bounced back from a nine-point performance in Sunday's 96-75 loss at Detroit. "I'm just trying to win the game, every game," Kirilenko said. "Yesterday, we had a pretty tough game in Detroit and they beat us easy. So we tried to come back today with a different attitude and just try to show how active and aggressive we can be from the beginning of the game." All of Kirilenko's points in the opening quarter came during a 23-4 run that built a 27-12 cushion and put the Jazz in control. The lead never fell below seven points the rest of the way and Utah led by as many as 20. "Andrei had a terrific game," Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said. "He was our most consistent player. When he scores like this, he gets involved in the whole game." DeShawn Stevenson scored six of his 16 points during the early surge, while Matt Harpring had 15 and 14 rebounds. Stevenson shot 9-of-11 from the field to lead a 49 percent (34-of-69) performance by Utah. "I just want to give quality minutes," Stevenson said. "When I'm not thinking about it, I'm not thinking about shooting. I just go do it." Kendall Gill led six Bulls in double figures with 13 points, but Chicago fell to 0-11 against the Western Conference. "I do not want to be judgmental of too many of the players," Bulls coach Scott Skiles said. "I do not think that is fair to them. I want to know guys longer than three weeks before I think I know them inside and out. Having said that, we are still an NBA team and we have to go out and play the right way." Skiles pulled guard Jamal Crawford just 2:13 into the game, although Crawford came back to collect 12 points and three assists. "I was in the wrong spot on offense," Crawford said. "Coach told us his patience is wearing thin, and that is what happens when you are in the wrong spot." The Bulls have lost 11 of the last 12 meetings with the Jazz.
