Game StorySALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- Raja Bell torched his former team, helping his current team avenge its worst loss of the season. Bell matched a career high with 25 points and Andrei Kirilenko added 21 and 12 rebounds as the Utah Jazz posted a 108-94 victory over the Dallas Mavericks. Bell played 75 games for the Mavericks last season, making 32 starts, and was a key part of one of the league's deepest teams. He scored 16 points in his first rematch with Dallas on November 1, when Utah was handed its worst loss of the season, 127-102. "They gave us a good beating at their place this year and that was on our minds," Bell said. "We didn't want that to happen again. It was a little more special because it was my old team." The Jazz turned the tables on their home floor, bridging the final two quarters with a 25-5 run to take control. Carlos Arroyo had eight of his 11 points and Kirilenko six during the stretch, which gave Utah an 85-66 cushion with 10:01 left. "We just kept going at them," Jazz forward DeShawn Stevenson said. "I've never seen Dallas slow down the ball like that. We kept pushing it and a lot of people made big shots." "It went so quick," Dallas forward Dirk Nowitzki said. "We had a couple of good looks that didn't go in and on the other end they scored every time they came down. They did everything they needed to do." Stevenson collected 17 points and a career-high 11 rebounds for the Jazz, who bounced back from a pair of 20-point defeats on the road, avoiding their first three-game losing streak of the season. Utah continued its success at the Delta Center, where it has won nine of its last 11 games, despite playing without coach Jerry Sloan, who was not at the game due to his wife's illness. "It was a great way to jump back after a couple of disappointing losses," Utah assistant coach Phil Johnson said. "We are so much more aggressive at home and we have more confidence." Greg Ostertag grabbed eight rebounds and Bell and Raul Lopez added six each as Utah held a commanding 52-33 edge on the boards. The Jazz scored 16 points off 17 offensive rebounds. Nowitzki scored 24 points to lead the Mavericks, who have lost five of their last six games on the road. Nowitzki had little help as Michael Finley and Steve Nash combined for just 17 points on 7-of-21 shooting, including 1-of-7 from 3-point range.
