Game StoryTORONTO (Ticker) -- The Orlando Magic quickly ran out of gas without All-Star Tracy McGrady. The Magic suffered their fourth straight loss, a 110-90 setback to the Toronto Raptors, who got 32 points from Donyell Marshall. "They went on a good run and we didn't have any energy," Magic forward Juwan Howard said. "We ran out of gas." Coming off back-to-back double-doubles, Marshall made 12-of-18 shots, grabbed nine rebounds and had four blocks. He scored 13 points in a pivotal second quarter. Morris Peterson finished with nine points off the bench and teamed with Marshall to spur a 20-5 burst early in the second quarter. "Donyell was open (tonight)," Toronto All-Star forward Vince Carter said. "He was in the right place at the right time." "The key is to take care of the teams you are supposed to take care of," Marshall said. "Then get a couple of wins against teams that you think you're not supposed to." The Magic again were without McGrady, who suffered back spasms during warmups. Without their star, the Magic led, 30-28, just under a minute into the second quarter when Peterson hit consecutive 3-pointers to spark the decisive run. Peterson had all nine of his points, Jalen Rose six and Marshall five in the burst, which Peterson capped with a 3-pointer with 5:06 remaining. "In the second quarter, Mo Peterson started to hit some 3-pointers and that brought the momentum in their favor," Howard said. "They got confident, the crowd got into it and they went from there. Rose scored 21 points and Carter added 11 and nine assists for the Raptors, who posted their largest margin of victory this season. Howard scored 22 points for Orlando, which trailed by as many as 29 points in the second half. In McGrady's absence, the Magic started Gordan Giricek and Rod Strickland together for just the second time this season. The duo combined to to shoot 7-of-20 although Strickland had 10 assists and seven rebounds. Without the NBA's second-leading scorer, Orlando shared the scoring load as five players reached double figures - including rookie Zaza Pachulia, who had a career-high 14 points. "Back spasms, there is nothing you can do about that," Orlando coach Johnny Davis said. "The next guy has to step up and we have to rally as a team and we weren't able to do that tonight." Marshall capped a 22-point first half with a dunk that gave Toronto a 63-43 halftime cushion. A jumper by Robert Archibald with 7:16 to go in the third quarter pushed the advantage to 73-50. "It is really tough, especially when you find out (McGrady) is not going to be there right at game time," Orlando rookie forward Keith Bogans said. "That threw us off but we still have to play through that. We had a chance to step up and carry the load but it didn't happen."
