Game StoryTORONTO (Ticker) -- Jamaal Tinsley is getting more and more comfortable taking the big shot. Tinsley shook off a rough shooting night by drilling a key-pointer with 2:23 to go as the Indiana Pacers posted an 83-77 triumph over the Toronto Raptors. Tinsley missed five of his first seven shots, but with Indiana clinging to a 76-74 lead, the Pacers' point guard stepped up and drained the key basket in the contest. "The play was actually called for me," Pacers forward Jermaine O'Neal said. "He came in and hit a big one for us." Tinsley finished with 11 points and continues to get it done from behind the arc. Since opening the season 3-of-18 from 3-point range, Tinsley is shooting 37.5 percent (27-of-72). He also has seen his scoring average and playing time increase in each of the last four months. "You have to give Jamaal credit, he's worked extremely hard on his 3-point shooting," O'Neal said. "Jamaal's confidence is sky high shooting the 3-pointer," Pacers forward Al Harrington said. "We felt comfortable with him taking that shot." All-Star Ron Artest had 27 points and Harrington chipped in 19 off the bench for the Pacers, who have won five of the last six games in the series. O'Neal, the Pacers' other All-Star, had 20 points and 14 rebounds. "Tinsley's 3-pointer was huge," Indiana coach Rick Carlisle said. "It was a real gutsy shot. You have to make plays to win games, and we had a couple of All-Stars who played great tonight." Donyell Marshall had 24 points and 10 rebounds for Toronto, which was seeking its first three-game winning streak since winning five straight from December 2-9. After Tinsley's jumper, Vince Carter had a turnover and Marshall missed a tough layup and jumper on different possessions. Carter had another miss with 42 seconds left, Morris Peterson grabbed the offensive rebound and Rose missed a jumper 12 seconds later. Tinsley sealed the win with two free thows with 22 seconds to go. "We had our chances at the end," Toronto coach Kevin O'Neill said. "Tinsley made a huge shot and we still had chances to win. We are getting to the rim and not finishing. I like the shots, we just didn't finish." "We missed some shots at the end, some easy layups," Carter said. Carter scored 18 points but missed 10-of-17 shots and had five turnovers. "I thought Artest had a huge game and played solid defense on Vince all night," Carlisle said. Harrington scored one more point than the Toronto's entire bench.
