Game StorySALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- With the Utah Jazz in desperate need of a win, the right opponent strolled into the Delta Center. Andrei Kirilenko had 20 points and 15 rebounds and Raja Bell added 15 and six assists off the bench as the Jazz ran their home winning streak over the Golden State Warriors to 19 games with an easy 91-77 triumph. Golden State matched a season high with its seventh straight loss. Jarron Collins and Rookie Sasha Pavlovic scored 11 points apiece as the surprising Jazz (33-32) pulled within one-half game of the Denver Nuggets for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. "I give the Jazz credit. They play as hard as any team in the league," Golden State coach Eric Musselman said. "Coach Sloan has done an unbelievable job. This ballclub is fighting for their playoff lives and that is exactly how they played tonight." "You know this team is skilled and they move a lot and play really, really hard," Warriors guard Mike Dunleavy said. "They are fighting for their lives to get that last playoff spot, and they are playing like it." But while the Warriors were impressed with the Jazz's energy, Utah coach Jerry Sloan was anything but. "I wasn't pleased at all," he said. "Ask (the players) how bad they want to make the playoffs, how far they want to advance in this game. (The Warriors) got back in the game and we act like we aren't even concerned. If they accept the game that way, then we aren't going to be able to win games and that's really the sad part. ... I was very disappointed." Bell explained his coach's anger, saying, "His job is to never let us feel satisfied, and I don't think that any of us are." Jason Richardson led Golden State with 19 points and Dunleavy added 15, eight rebounds and three steals. The Warriors, who have not won here since November 11, 1994, missed 9-of-11 3-pointers and committed 21 turnovers. "I think it was just circumstances this time," Collins said of the Jazz's dominance of the Warriors. "They were coming off a tough game last night in Sacramento. We got off to a good start shooting the ball. We just jumped on them. It was a difficult situation for them coming into our place." "Some teams are comfortable for you and some are not," Kirilenko said. "I think Golden State is one of the good opponents for me, especially in the Delta Center." The game was tied, 6-6, four minutes into the game when a basket by Raul Lopez ignited an 11-1 burst. Kirilenko capped the spurt with a dunk with 4:42 left in the quarter. Kirilenko opened the second quarter with a 3-pointer and a layup for a 30-14 cushion. Utah led 56-30 at the half, and Golden State got no closer than the final margin over the final 24 minutes. Despite the easy win, Sloan's message over the second-half effort was taken to heart. "The coach always wants his players to play hard for 48 minutes," Lopez said. "Today we didn't. Maybe we played hard for 24 minutes. You have to play hard every minute you are on the floor."
