Game StorySEATTLE (Ticker) -- The Seattle SuperSonics overcame a 3-point onslaught by James Jones in the fouth quarter to hold off the gritty Indiana Pacers. Rashard Lewis scored 22 points and Ray Allen added 19 as the Sonics remained undefeated at home with a 103-95 victory over the Pacers. "Indiana came out aggressive and pushed the ball," Seattle coach Nate McMillan said. "It was a difficult matchup, so we tried to push the ball and keep pressure on them. We knew they had a short bench." The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Indiana, which dropped to 3-2 since Ron Artest, Jermaine O'Neal and Stephen Jackson were suspended for their part in the ugly brawl in Detroit. The suspensions appeared to finally take a toll on Indiana, which trailed, 87-75, with 8:23 remaining. But Jones kept the Pacers in the game by making five of his six 3-pointers in the fourth quarter and finished with a career-high 27 points. "I think they started to wear down," Seattle forward Nick Collison said. "They do a great job with what they've got. They spread the floor and made it real hard to guard." At 13-2, the Sonics are off to their best start since opening the 1993-94 with a 14-1 mark. Indiana closed to 93-89 on Jamaal Tinsley's 3-pointer with 3:55 remaining, but the Sonics finally put away the contest with a 7-0 spurt. Antonio Daniels' jumper, Luke Ridnour's 3-pointer and Lewis' layup made it 100-89 with 1:12 remaining. Jones hit two 3-pointers in the final minute. "They are hitting jump shots," Tinsley said. "They are hitting a whole lot of perimeter shots and right now they are playing really. Tonight, they came out and worked both ends of the court." Jones, who played in six just games for the Pacers last season, finished 10-of-14 from the field, including 6-of-9 from 3-point range. The Pacers stayed in the game despite getting outscored off the bench, 45-4. All five starters scored in double figures for Indiana, which also continues to be without Reggie Miller and Scot Pollard, who are injured. Tinsley scored 22 points and center David Harrison added 16 before fouling out with 3:55 remaining. Fred Jones chipped in with 14 and Austin Croshere added 12 as all five Indiana starters scored in double figures. Six players scored in double figures for Seattle, including all five starters. Vladimir Radmanovic and Daniels chipped in with 14 apiece for the bench. "We're not being selfish," Lewis said. "Ray and I aren't trying to take all the shots. There are a number of guys who can score." Lewis' 3-pointer gave the Sonics the lead for good, 33-30, with 8:01 left in the first half. Seattle opened its biggest cushion, 87-75, on Danny Fortson's tip shot.
