Game StorySALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- The Utah Jazz got back Andrei Kirilenko and actually played worse defensively. The Memphis Grizzlies shot 57 percent from the field and broke open a tight game with a decisive run bridging the third and fourth quarters en route to a 110-94 triumph over the Jazz. The return of Kirilenko, an All-Star forward who led the NBA with 4.43 blocks per game before suffering a knee injury November 30, was expected to energize Utah on both sides of the floor. But the 6-9 Kirilenko had just two points in 12 minutes and did little to slow the offense of the Grizzlies. "He looked pretty good for the first time out there, but it's tough for him," Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said. "But we can't just be glad to have Kirilenko back and think that we don't have to work anymore." "I feel a little bit of tiredness, it sometimes felt heavy to jump," Kirilenko said. "Sometimes my mind was ready to get a rebound but my body wasn't." Memphis made 37-of-65 shots, including 11-of-19 3-pointers. Pau Gasol scored 23 points and four teammates reached double figures as the Grizzlies (23-18) won for just the third time in 19 visits to the Delta Center. Gasol, who has had his troubles in the fourth quarter this season, scored six points in a 26-8 burst that turned a one-point lead into a 93-74 bulge with 8:01 remaining. Gasol, who was matched up against Kirilenko during much of the run, got the Grizzlies going with an offensive rebound and basket on the opening possession of the fourth quarter. Gasol followed that hoop with a dunk 30 seconds later, pushing the lead to 83-70. Brian Cardinal also had six of his 14 points in the surge. "Offensively I did a much better job than the last two games, at least," said Gasol, who has just 13 points on 6-of-18 shooting over his last two contests. "I was a little more help to my team." Mehmet Okur led Utah (14-27) with 22 points off the bench. Okur's 3-pointer with 2:53 remaining in the third quarter pulled the Jazz within 67-66. But the Jazz turned it over on their next possession, and Memphis took control with its prolong run. Utah's offense wasn't much better than its defense, as the Jazz missed several layups and made just 8-of-15 free throws. The Grizzlies led by as many as 15 in the second quarter before Utah pulled to within 47-41 at the half. The Grizzlies last win in the Delta Center came on January 16, 2002, when they posted a 97-95 triumph in overtime. They had lost their last five games here, but the win concluded a 2-1 road trip. "The Jazz are really tough at home and you know they're going to get the Delta Center crowd behind them," Memphis guard Shane Battier said. "It's a very difficult place to win. We're proud of this win. It's the last game of our road trip, which is always the toughest one. So to come in here to Utah and win, it's a bonus for us."
