Game StoryCLEVELAND (Ticker) -- Mike Bibby, Peja Stojakovic and Cuttino Mobley led another strong offensive performance against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Bibby, Stojakovic and Mobley scored 22 points apiece as the Sacramento Kings posted their ninth consecutive victory over the Cavaliers, a 128-109 rout. Sacramento had its highest output while Cleveland had its worst defensive effort of the campaign, surpassing the 122 yielded to the Kings at Arco Arena on January 20. "It was just play our game, move the ball and limit them to one shot and push it down their throat," Mobley said. "Everything that we did worked," Stojakovic said. The Kings trailed, 39-38, with 9:50 remaining in the second quarter before Corliss Williamson scored 12 of his 17 points in a 35-14 blitz that closed the first half and opened a 73-52 advantage. Sacramento also outrebounded Cleveland, 18-2, in the period. "Even in the first quarter when we were playing very good offense, we were trading baskets with them," Cleveland interim coach Brendan Malone said. "The second quarter we didn't rebound, we didn't stop anybody." Reserves Williamson, Maurice Evans, Darius Songaila and Eddie House combined to score 30 of Sacramento's 41 season-high points in the quarter. "Our second group was just great in the second quarter," Sacramento coach Rick Adelman said. "We had 31 assists and 13 turnovers; with those totals, you are going to win your share of games." Stojakovic's jumper with just under seven minutes remaining in the third quarter gave the Kings their largest lead at 92-61. Cleveland rallied behind LeBron James, who scored 10 of his 35 points in the final period. Drew Gooden added eight of his 21 in the quarter as the Cavaliers slowly chipped away at the deficit. "You couldn't relax and think it's over with," Adelman said. "This league is all about runs. When you're playing a team on the road and have a team with a guy like LeBron with the ball, they can score every time down the court." Gooden got Cleveland as close as 115-106 on a layup with just over 4 1/2 minutes remaining. However, Mike Bibby connected on a 3-pointer and a three-point play on consecutive possessions to put the game out of reach. "Mike made a huge three that put us up 12 and that kind of broke their backs," Adelman said. "We knew they were going to make a run," Williamson said. "We did a good job of keeping our composure." The victory moved Sacramento (45-29) one-half game ahead of Houston (44-29) for fifth place in the Western Conference playoff race. Cleveland (37-34) dropped into a tie with Indiana for sixth place in the East. The Cavaliers fell to 4-12 in the second of back-to-back games and have four back-to-backs left this season. "We can see a lot of teams chasing us, but we are still in the playoffs at this point," James said. "I'm going to do what I have to do to put this team on my back and get to the playoffs."
